Welcome to my Marathon fanpage! This is the place where I will be gushing over the greatest sci- fi game trilogy ever made!

- Cool aliens? Check.
- Awesome weapons? Check.
- Beautiful locations? Check.
- Interesting story? Check and then some!

So what's it all about?

Marathon takes place on the eponymus ship, the UESC Marathon. The ship is transporting a crew of colonists to Tau Ceti, when they come under attack by a species of hostile aliens known as "the Pfhor". You are a security officer, whose job is to destroy the enemy, follow the tasks given to you by the Marathon's on-board AIs, and uncover just what started this whole catastrophe.

Marathon2: Durandal
(aka Marathon 2 or M2) takes place 17 years after the events of the first game. One of the Marathon's on-board AIs, Durandal, has escaped the confines of the ship to pursue his own agenda and has taken you with him. Together you explore the ancient planet of L'howon in search of something that could stop the Pfhor, who are now on a conquest across our galaxy.

There's a lot of neat scenarios out there for Marathon that bring something new to the table. Sadly, there's too many to list, so to keep this section short, I'll only include my favourites.

After the release of Infinity, Bungie would start working on the ill-fated Marathon 3. Sadly, due to lack of interest on the team, it would get canned after about 2 months in favour of Myth.
But fear not, as Rubicon come in to fill in that M3-shaped void. Picking up after the events of Marathon 2, you once again find yourself in service of Durandal... Or do you?
On top of having shiny new graphics, levels, guns, enemies, etc., Rubicon also has a brainching storyline, which I can't really summarize here.

Man, where do I start? Pfh'Joueur is an experience. An incredible experience. A one-of-a-kind incredible experience. I've never seen anything like it before, and I don't think I will ever find anything like it again. The atmosphere, the textures, the ambient sounds, everything is perfectly alien. Marathon may have given us alien landscapes and ships, but Pfh'Joueur perfected them.
